Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Rent a Car Bali, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our car rental services in Bali.

2. Rental Requirements

To rent a vehicle from us, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age (25 years for certain vehicle categories)
• Hold a valid driver's license for at least 1 year
• Present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) along with your national driver's license
• Provide a valid credit or debit card for payment and security deposit
• Present a valid passport or government-issued ID

3. Booking and Payment

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability. We reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings under certain circumstances.

• Payment is required at the time of vehicle pickup unless otherwise agreed
• A security deposit may be required and will be refunded upon return of the vehicle in satisfactory condition
• Rates are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and include basic insurance coverage
• Additional fees may apply for extra drivers, GPS, child seats, and other optional services

4. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

You agree to:

• Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes and in accordance with Indonesian traffic laws
• Not use the vehicle for racing, testing, or any competitive driving
• Not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Not sublet or rent the vehicle to any other person
• Not take the vehicle outside of Bali without prior written permission
• Not use the vehicle to transport passengers or goods for hire
• Not smoke in the vehicle

5. Insurance and Liability

All rentals include basic third-party liability insurance. Additional coverage options are available.

• The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period
• In case of an accident, you must notify us and the police immediately
• Insurance coverage may be void if the vehicle is used in violation of these terms
• The security deposit may be used to cover damages, fines, or other charges

6. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling charge plus a service fee will be applied.

7. Vehicle Return

The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location at or before the scheduled return time. Late returns may incur additional charges.

• Late return fees may apply if you exceed the agreed rental period
• The vehicle should be returned in the same condition as received
• Additional cleaning fees may apply for excessive dirt or damage

8. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee.

9. Traffic Violations and Fines

You are responsible for all traffic violations, parking fines, and toll charges incurred during the rental period. If we receive notification of such charges, they will be charged to your payment method along with an administrative fee.

10. Breakdown and Maintenance

In case of mechanical breakdown or maintenance issues, contact us immediately. We provide 24/7 roadside assistance for covered mechanical failures. You must not attempt to repair the vehicle yourself.

11. Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle. Please ensure you remove all items upon return of the vehicle.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rent a Car Bali shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or vehicles.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bali, Indonesia.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
